If it’s the same one I tried it’s pretty flimsy.
Not a solid piece.
It’s just what you see.
There is no bottom.
It’s a stamped piece - if that makes sense.

Here's a few pictures of what's in the box. Actually surprised a little they included a blanket for the splitter. Headed out to get it blasted soon.

Well the white paint is no more. It should be getting sprayed within the week or so. Sorry no pictures of splitter with the white removed but I will when I get it back all painted. Just hope it matches the factory color and texture really well.

2014-2015 Camaro SS 1LE front bumper lip replacement

Has anyone tried the ikon front bumper lip since GM discontinued the original 1LE part? I am in need of a replacement too since a car ran over some road debris and cast it into my bumper lip.

i have one new in the box that i am getting ready to install in the next few weeks. it looks identical to the factory splitter. although the holes are marked, they are not drilled, so we'll see how the fitment is. But overall looks to be a good match.

Thank you
Doug

Forgot to update my thread. Splitter turned out great. We used a black primer then sprayed WA8555 then a semi-gloss clear toned down a few extra clicks towards the matte side a touch. Yes flex additive was used as well. Finish is slightly darker in color and slightly more shiny compared to the stock unpainted plastic splitter. I would say it's really close to the 1le spoiler factory finish if anything. Overall very I am happy with the end results. Now at least I have a spare which hopefully I will never need.

Thanks. After looking at my factory one a bit more, I decided to just roll with mine as is for the time being. Not worth the time and effort...yet.

This is the GM factory style 1le splitter that my parts guy at my local dealer found me last year.

GM stopped producing these too soon, Would be nice to be able to get the factory ones still, to me they are the nicest. I am not a fan of the one I got and it was not cheap.

Yeah I haven't seen a 1le style aftermarket one worth buying as of yet imo. I already had a handful of people wanting mine which says a lot.

How did you install?
I busted mine off and haven’t found the install kit to put it back. I can’t believe they discontinued all of the hardware and the splitter itself.

Not sure if your question is for me or not? I have all the included gm brackets and rivets for the factory splitter. I was planning on removing the one on my car and having it repaired after curbing it last year. But have since decided to just roll if it for the time being. I wanted a spare splitter and install kit for a worse case scenario situation. And if I never use it, then figured I could either sell it or it will stay with the car when I sell it.
