How are the 2010-Present Camaros Holding Up??
Im looking into Camaros and really like everything about it. Everytime i mention it to my dad he says Camaros dont hold up and fall apart quickly. He says this because in the 80' or 90' he had an Iroc which in less than a year started rattling and it was just problem after problem. This is why he tells me that camaro or chevy is no good. i just want to ask you guys if chevy has stepped up their game. And if you can also mention if you have a heavy foot or not. I personally have a heavy foot and am wondering if the camaro will give me issues for pushing the pedal to the metal.
Thanks and i cant wait to get my '14 camaro. |

My 2010 synergy is in great shape! The last 3 years haven't really affected much at all. 42k miles and interior is in great shape, mechanically no issues besides the common gripes (clutch, 2nd gear).
Financially, it was even a great choice! I traded in a mustang that I was way upside on -like I owed twice the value of the car - and I'm now at a pretty even point on the Camaro. They've held their value pretty well.

My 2010 RubyCamaro is doing great with 33k+ miles on her. I drag race her 3-4 times a year, daily drove her 70+ mi a day for the first 2 years, drove her in terrible heavy rain/storms, deep snow, and scorching summer heat. Well maintained, they hold up very well. I have only had to have a TPMS chip replaced & a small problem with my seat repaired, all under warranty. Permagrin is still firmly in place!

Quality wise GMs nowadays are good investments. Certainly better than Fords lately, not a hater I have 2 Fords a Shelby and just bought the wife the new fusion. The Shelby is perfect if perfectly taken care of but GM is more forgiving for less than perfect care. Both my Shelby and my friends navigator (same ford 5.4 v8) broke every spark plug during a tune up. Where's the escalade (gm) daily driver runs pretty perfect while admittedly I've skipped a couple oil changes the past year. Fusion is new so gotta wait to see how it holds up. Anyways, I don't think buying GM nowadays is much of a risk.

Mine is holding up really well. Let your dad know that my 93 Z28, one owner is holding up pretty well too. It's my daily driver with 107,000 miles and always garaged since June of 93.

Only 16,000 miles here, but holding up well since early 2010. Only real complaint is the vent fan is a little noisy on higher levels. No mechanical issues whatsoever.

Four years old in a couple of month.
Daily driver with almost 80,000 miles. Best car I've ever had.
