Should I be concerned that it is never turned on when my g/f is sitting over there?

Is there something she is doing wrong?

Sometimes the light flickers to "on" for a split second but it's usually off.

My 20 lb. pug could make the light flicker on and off in other vehicles. (no dog has ever been in my Camaro)

Take it to dealer to be fixed.

Get her a couple of cheesburgers so she will trip that switch.

Kidding aside, mine will not turn on if my daughter is in the passenger seat. I on the other hand have no prob triping the switch.
