I didn't realize flowmaster was made out of 409SS instead of 304SS. I would have went with a different brand

If you don't drive in the winter and heavily salted roads... the 409 is just fine....

409 is fine unless you want something pretty looking, it can have bad discolorations in the metal.

First off thank you for your support! To help keep pricing down we do not make any full Cat-back or Axle-back exhaust systems with a 304S option, 304S is only used on a handful of our Universal Replacement Mufflers and I believe all of our exhaust tips and some additional exhaust accessories. Don't worry though, if you purchased one of our 409S exhaust systems you'll be covered by our lifetime, limited warranty. Just be sure to hold on to that invoice and call us at 707-544-4761 if ANY issues ever arise. For those that would like a little extra protection from the elements, you can always apply a coat of VHT "Clear" high temp paint.

Well that sucks.

I figured since it was a full cat back it would have helped with the drone a bit, as I attributed most of the drone issues to their axle back exhausts.

Because of the drone I just 2 days ago removed my Flowmaster Outlaw axleback, which sound amazing btw, and put my Legato chambered mufflers back on. I just couldn't handle the drone at 70-80mph and vibration/rattling inside the car any longer. Which really sucks, as it truly did sound awesome. I got so many compliments on them.

But the Legato exhaust really does sound good, its just so much quieter inside the car. But outside it is nice and loud, yet clean and refined.
I really feel Flowmaster needs to go back to the drawing board. Maybe design a Helmholtz resonator into the exhausts or some sort of other drone killer.

I guess they didn't earn the name Dronemaster for nothing.

Sorry that it has too much drone for you, I did post that I had some drone as well, but at certain rpm's and that I would shift to a lower gear to bring the revs up some to compensate for what ever mph I was traveling.
