Right now Mustangs are selling nearly 3:1 compared to Camaros.
I know right? They also switched production plants so the new one should be tooled up and making cars as we speak. I mean "should" as in that would be a smart business decision not "should" as in they are.

Speaking about paint... I hope it will be better quality than the Gen5 paint!

Unfortunate!

The current color palette (as posted above) is absolutely dreadful. I hadn't seen it presented in that way before, but seeing the colors all in a row like that really drives home how awful it is.

This quote (from the first post) should give you hope: While he wouldn't spell out the exact color palette for the 2016 Camaro, he said "there is a good range of bright and expressive colors to some very luxurious and subdued shades."

It at least sounds like there will be some variety!

That's exactly how it is on the Build and Price site for the Camaro lol. They definitely need a range of colors!

They are still saying Late Fall is when they go on sale... Which means it could be as late as December 21st.

"nothing about this car that's retro"

One of the things I liked about the Gen 5 was the Camaro heritage you could see in the styling. I hope they don't completely abandon "retro" styling, otherwise there is really no reason not to buy Korean or Japanese.

If you've kept up with any of the models and images that chazcron has put together, you'll know that this is a natural progression. Some people (I'm one of them) even argue that it's TOO similar to the 5th gen.

I doubt it.
