Sturgis Camaro Rally

I'm thinking about going to the Sturgis Camaro Rally this year. I was wanting feedback from any of you that have went in the past. It's a long ass drive for me so I really wanted to see what other's thought before committing. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend it! We have been about 4 or 5 times for the bike rally!
The Black Hills area has a lot of scenic roads.... (especially in our convertible).

May have to make that trip. We are 6 hours away..Thanks for the info!

Don't miss the 16 mile Wildlife Loop at Custer State Park....Watch out for buffalo!!!

Took both VTX's in 2008. this shot was in Hill City outside of Custer.

Yeah it seems like it would be an awesome place to do some driving and compete in the events. It's an 18 hour drive for me so I'm trying to see if anyone has actually been to this event.

My wife and I went in 2014 and drove her 69 SS. It was a 2 day drive from home. That was the first time for the rally for us but our third visit to the Black Hills area. We had a great time at the Camaro Rally. The people that put it on are a great bunch and the participants were a hoot. The wife's 69 is the sixth one on the left.

This will be my 5th year going. This is a MUST do event . Too many things to do in the Black Hills to list. The event is put on by some fantastic people. Tons of fun. And some really friendly people that participate. There is also a FB page. Check it out too!!

I think there was around 300 or so Camaros last year. I sure hope to see more this year!! There are plenty of Motels and cabins to stay at in the area. Rapid City is only a short distance away too. Historic Deadwood is always cool! The event hotel is the holiday express.. I think, Super 8, days inn. Quite a few places. I would almost guarantee that you will want to return to it the following year. Hope to see you there!!
