Saleen Camaro???

Ok, I'm going down Winchester to the mall in Temecula. I see in my rearview a nice black Camaro SS... BUT, in big bold letters across the top of the windshield it says "SALEEN". I'm like "Whaaaaat?" I've never heard of such a thing. I thought Saleen was reserved for mustangs. As I'm making my turn into the mall, he's passing me. I'm rubbernecking him, he's rubbernecking me. No time to question the origin of this alien Camaro, as we are parting ways now. It did not have plates yet so it's new. It did look very nice.

Their web site shows packages for Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger. They list three different packages for the Camaro.

From Saleen I'd expect much better than that. Looks like they built their cars on a budget using bargain bin parts. Surprising as Saleen always took a basic plain Jane Mustang & made it into something that was special & looked special too.

Had I known I would have looked for the numbers on the side of the front fender to determine what package it was.

If they sound as awesome as their mustangs I would have one. There is a 5.0 running a Roush exhaust and it sounds amazing
