SRT Hellcat Challenger leaked photos
Could this be the 2015 SRT Hellcat or the SRT8-392?
A Dodge Challenger “Hellcat” prototype with very minimal camouflage was spotted with a SRT Viper-like hood scoop. The latest prototype sports the same revised front and rear lighting treatment as the refreshed 2015 Dodge Challenger shown at the 2014 New York auto show earlier this month. Last fall, a Challenger Hellcat prototype was spotted, reportedly with a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V-8 under the hood. While power numbers haven’t been disclosed, the supercharged mill is expected to make a Viper-like 640 hp, though rumors suggest the engine is capable of more power. Other rumors suggest that the Hellcat name won’t be used on the production version of the super Challenger. While the prototype features “392 Hemi” fender badges, bits of camo covering a small portion of the grille and center of the taillights suggest the automaker is concealing the high-performance model’s trim name. With its newfound power, the Challenger Hellcat will be better able to compete with the 580-hp Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V-8) and the 662-hp Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 with its supercharged 5.8-liter V-8. As with the Viper, we expect the Challenger Hellcat’s hood scoop to be functional for a ram-air intake system and venting under-hood heat. If so, it's very subtle. Biggest giveaways are the hood, wheels, and monster brakes. Unless you knew exactly what you were looking for, you wouldn't know it's the super Challenger.

It looks to me like it may sit a little lower as well. Tire size looks to be bigger than the present 255s maybe 275/285s?

Nice, those things are going to be monsters. Shame they didn't bring out the big guns for this sooner.

SRT Premium. The Hellcat will not have Fog lights or the Fog lights housing and the Hellcat will have quad exhaust tips.

I tend to agree this may be the standard SRT8-392 version Challenger and not the Hellcat. We know the Hellcat will be 640+hp but I wonder what the HP rating will be on this car given that the R/T 392 will sport 485-hp, I would have to guess the SRT version ups that number to 500-525hp?

Maybe they'll say **** it and go 700 on the nose.
Easier to say my car makes 700hp than 693...just rolls off the tongue.

..front lower grill looks 'happy'. liking the yellow/green paint w/ black stripes. Unsure about the TSW-looking rims, though.
..and what's w/ the shark-fin antennae copy-cat? |

It will be interesting to see if they decide to put it in the Charger as well, since they share the platform... Sign me up for a 700hp 8 speed auto 4 door! |
