So what's the route for the Bakersfield peeps? I'd suggest 58 I stead of the grapevine. Also, a good meet up spot was where we had the 1st annual Bakersfield meet up back in Feb. It's the pizza place on 58 and Real it has a huge parking lot.

If you want to get complex I say we do Grapevine and hit all the smaller freeways to get to the 10 since it'll be the fastest way to Phoenix but do agree about the pizza place since it's right off the freeway it'll be the easiest spot to get the convoy on together.

Sounds like a good plan. We'll work on a location to meet up with the convoy

I think the drivers are to see how many cars are being driven there. At least that's what I got out of the original post in that thread.

I can't wait for SEMA and now this. I need to make sure I get my car completed before C5Gest II if not by SEMA.

Oh? Someone posted about it being for people who were going to race, and autocross.. and how many would just be watching.

Either way, I guess we'll be expecting a crap ton of people.

Nice!! Didn't know you Texas boys could coordinate something like that. I'm used to seeing Jerry Jones announce his grand plans only to see his dreams and money go blowing in the wind.

I kid I kid Mike! It's cool you guys planned and pulled it off so smoothly.

I don't want to steal anyone's thunder, but if you guys want me to set something up, I'm sure I can arrange that. It looks like the BC/Washington folks are going to be heading east in Oregon and then south through Nevada, so we're pretty much free to leave when we want, stop where we want etc.

I think we should have a few spots set up where video can be taken of the convoy driving by and growing larger for Ronin since I'm almost positive he'll want to make one. I could be wrong though.

We have 4 general areas of California to cover from NorCal, right?

Bay area
Sacramento/elk grove/folsom are
Modesto
fresno

does that sound about right?

58 will be by far the easiest way to go. But if we want to roll with the larger norcal group, we are going to have to take the grapevine.
It looks like we have 4 cars from bakersfield so far. What do you guys think? 58 or 5?
