Cammed Full Bolt on SS vs. Turbo 370Z

What do you guys think? Guy by my work has a 2011 370Z and just had a single turbo intake and exhaust installed. My upgrades are in my sig.

what kind of power are you putting down? check out this link: http://www.370ztuner.com/contents/en-us/p68.html

not sure what type of torque the 370zs put down, but this kit claims 535rwhp.. that in a lighter car could get ugly..

I would say your SS would edge him down low, but the higher speeds you move into, the harder that 370Z will pull. It's a high revving light weight car, that is very aerodynamic which will work against you.

Shouldn't be a slaughter, I'd say 2-3 cars depending on how high you run up to.

That site shows 452/344 to the wheels.... I think I could take him, I gotta find a dynojet dyno.... should put down 510/520 or so to the wheels.

Only one way to find out. Slap on some drag radials and meet him at the track. If you are a good driver my money is on you.

No drag radial = you lose... do to traction issues.

It depends completely on what turbo he is using and how much boost he is running. Could be making anywhere from 400rwhp to 550rwhp.

Gonna be really close. The 370zs are easy low 13 second cars stock so a turbo is definitely going to dip him into 12s. Id say from a roll he would take you but a dig might be a driver's race.

It all depends on how well his car is setup.

Without knowing the setup of the 370z, I'd put my money a cammed/bolt ons Camaro SS.

i think the 370z would take you on a roll. a turbo 370z, is not a drag car.

Go get'm man! Just don't race for moneys, haha. Those cars are quick for what they are, stock. One pushed over 300rwhp on our dyno, intake + exhaust. Get him from the dig.

Meet him at the track and find out! Nothing to be gained by paper racing on a forum.
