Greetings alsab44....
Back in April when the 2010 Camaro made it's apperance, I pretty much visited every dealer North of Boston into NH. Of course at that time "I'm not paying $3K over list, don't be ridiculous", I soon found out if I wanted a new Camaro, I would have to pay. One dealer, on May 1st, told me, if I order the car and wait I could get it for list. I continued my search and kept getting the $3K over list, that's if the sales people at those dealers would even notice me to talk to me (I'm a 57 year old man, not a kid). So, finally after many months and continued talk with "my" dealer". on July 20th, I went back to "my" dealer. He told me, his allocation was available as of Aug 1st and I would be number 1 and it would take approx 10 weeks to deliver and he would sell it to me at list. This is what he told me in May, June, and July. Never waivered from his offer.

That dealer is Lannan Chevrolet in Woburn, the salesmans name is Ed Shine. I cannot begin to tell you how pleasant an experience it was to buy from them. He kept me informed thru out the build. Lannan has been around a long time, I bought my first car from them in 1969. I highly recommend them and take a ride over and talk to Ed. He's not a hype you kind of guy. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and loves talking about the car.

My opinion? Lannan is the best Chevy Dealer on the North Shore. Haven't had a problem with the car yet (knock on wood), so it hasn't seen the Service Dept yet. Although I've used their service dept for oil changes and they are installing my 4 gauge pkg for me.

I own a 2010 1LT/RS ABM.

Not sure exactly where you are? I bought mine at Durand Chevrolet in Hudson, MA. (northwest of Boston, next to Marlboro) They told me they had an allocation for my order (which they did) I ordered mine the end of April and took delivery on July 1st. Approximately 9 weeks from order to delivery. I paid msrp back then, and I think they may be selling around 1,500-2,000 below msrp now. Great dealership and kept me informed of the progess of my order weekly. Ask for Mark Rebidue Sales Mgr.
See sig. below for progress of the order.

It's NH I know but I'd have to throw MacMulkin Chevy (Nashua) out there- when I had intentions of buying the 1SS they were the only ones who actually tried to help me out and give me a reasonable price.

It's worth the ride. When I had problems with my pre-order and dealer here in NY...I was really close to ordering with MacMulkin.

I also bought from Durand Chevrolet and was very satisfied with the buying experience. Had one on order from another dealer but Durand had my car on the lot - went for the sure thing as ABM was being discontinued and LT RS package was on constraint. Price was about $1650 under MSRP but that included the $500 for waiving the 60-day right to return and also about $440 in GM Card points. No experience yet with the service dept, hopefully won't find out anytime soon (knock wood).

MacMulkin is great! That's where I bought mine from back in August. Not only did they have allocation at the time but they honored my recent grad discount and were all around very pleasant to deal with. Ron is the Camaro/Corvette salesman there. He is very helpful and very knowledgeable.
