Saw my first 2014 today

Had one drive by as I was taking my little girl to school this morning. First off, very nice looking car. That said, I much prefer my 2010s front end and rear lights.

If I did not have the 2010, I could certainly see myself in the 2014 but I am VERY happy I have my 2010 SSRS.

Funny thing, I told my little girl to look out her window when it passed and all she said was "I like our Camaro better Daddy!!!" That's my girl!!! We were riding in our 2011 Cruze and she asked me if the Cruze was faster then that Camaro. Told her NO, but we can go a lot farther without stopping for gas!!

Again, great looking car, still happy I own a 2010 though.

At first I was majorly disappointed in the front & rear changes, but like you I was very partial to my 2010 2SS. Over time the '14 rear has grown on me a bit but I'm not sold on the front yet. Irregardless, I kept the "old" styling in the family & bought a '13 ZL1.

I agree with you statement. Not everyone is going to like styling changes however, GM must remain competitive in the market. I believe the Camaro and Corvette both are the nicest sports cars of the big 3.

I saw my first one in person a few days ago. Personally, I think the rear looks just as bad as the pictures. Actually in person I saw more of the way the rear bumper diffusor looks and I think that looks every bit as bad as the tail lights. The way it makes it so that you can see more of the exhaust as apposed to just the tips....no go for me.

If they had that design in 2010 I'm not so sure I would've bought it. If they had come out with that style first and then changed the '14 to be like the '10, there would be a heck of a lot more people trading in.

Good thing for us is I truly think it will help keep the '10 - '13 way more desirable which in turn makes them worth more longer. Similar to what a '70 - '73 is compared to '74 - '81.

Unfortunately when you make the car so bad ass the first go around it's hard to make improvements.

This is so true. I have a Cruze Eco as a daily and I make it 500 miles before filling up on the highway and that's with only 12 gallons.

The white 1lt vert is ugly. In fact all the models with that hump in place of a spoiler are ugly. Pat O'brien doesn't have any of the higher end 14's on the lot.

All 2014 models have that "hump". The ones with the spoilers just cover it up

The 2014 has grown on me especially like the one in cookie monster's signature. That is bad ass. I remind myself that I have the Corvette rip off tails and the 2014 has something similar to the 92 RS I used to own.

Doesn't look bad with the spoiler though. Just seems like you have to buy the higher end models if you want a sexy 14. Even the front ends are kind of off on the lower models.
