Ported Throttle Body

Hey guy's I just bought my 2014 Camaro SS Auto/L99 a month ago and have done my fuse pull as well. I am looking to get ported throttle body but am confused between VMax and BBK. Can you guys please give your opinion on which one is better and which size? Also would this void my warranty? Thanks.

Vmax is CNC ported by machine, Bo White is hand ported with a shaft mod, BBK is a 95mm or 102mm TB. IMO take BBK out of the equation, the opening of the manifold is 90mm or 92mm.... I forget.

So stock ported TB is the way to go unless you are buying a FAST 102 IM.

Go with Bo White. Or go Vmax and then have Bo do his shaft mod on it

Vmax or Bo, Vmax being more readily available and in stock.

I chose VMax because they are more readily available at the time and I am a big believer in CNC technology. I certainly can notice the increased response and am very happy with my purchase.

By the way, I also had a VMax PTB when I had my V6 and believe the response was even more beneficial to that engine (LFX).

x2.

This is what I have, I'm very pleased with what I got! If you're concerned about it being "readily available" just mail Bo your TB and have him port it and send it back to you. I just added myself to the waiting list and was patient.

Please realize that when I said "readily available", I also said "at the time". That was almost two years ago and I didn't want to send in my TB and have extended down-time waiting for it to come back. The VMax core-exchange worked better for me "at the time".

Not saying anything bad about Bo's work - I've heard nothing but good reports.
