Well, I know one thing. There are a lot of potential ZL1 buyers tonight rethinking their plans. You can bet on that.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Kinda wish they would have held this in their back pocket til like the day after the official gt500 launch. Just as an FU.
But that's just me being me.

Think of how deflated they must be right now, though.

At risk of revealing my inner fanboy...the 1LE tickled the times of a GT350...the ZL1 pounded a GT350R, and this car is dramatically quicker still!!

So glad this happened. The car checks all the boxes for me. Love to hear pricing and get an order in.

Just don't like the name at all...

Anybody know what the fastest time for a Vette at Milford is? They said this was 3 seconds faster than the ZL1.

There are a lot of parts (small and large) that can be added to a regular 6th gen based on your goals and budget to increase handling. Pretty cool.

- Dampers sit under adjustable camber plates in front and work with a three-position-adjustable rear anti-roll bar out back.
- Chevy says making changes at the track will be easy enough so the car can be reverted to a more street-friendly stance for the drive home, and that includes a front end that can be lowered by 0.4 inch.
- Besides the aforementioned aerodynamic items, the Camaro ZL1 1LE separates itself from the standard ZL1 with trim-specific smoked taillights, a black-painted hood.
- Revised front fascia that ditches the ZL1’s LED driving lights to suck in more air.
- New, larger front splitter and a larger grille opening to feed air into the engine.
- Beyond the dampers, the ZL1 1LE gets additional suspension tweaks to make it stiffer than the standard car.
- Along with reduced thickness rear glass and a fixed-back rear seat

Literally is track ready. I'll DD this just like the 2015 Z/28 I had lol
camber adjustment, height adjustment, and solid rear cradle. Yep it's a DD

I think for 80% of the ZL1 buyers the regular zl1 wil do the job and probably better than the 1LE version would. The ride quality on the 1 LE version is not going to be good. And there won't be a A10, so if the dealers want to jack up the price fine. We all know where 2014-2015 Z28 prices are right now. Once dealers sell the cars to people who really want them they will be eating the rest.
