yeah....... it sucks. Youtube has a few videos and apparently the 14+ 1LEs have no lift shift as well, 13s do not

My experience with launch control: I guesstimate I used it 8-10 times. Out of those times ONCE it worked amazing where the car just launched like a bat out of hell. The other times the car will either bog or blow the tires away. I can launch the car better without it.

This.

I've only used it 3 times and it was only on the first time it worked well... last two times, it just bogs and major wheel hop... Launch it yourself.

How taxing is this on the clutch?

Probably no more than you launching it yourself maybe less because of letting the clutch out quicker rather than slipping it. It is probably harder on your drivetrain. One way will be easier on something but harder on another.

I did it once at the track and got massive wheelhop. No thanks. That's a great way to break a halfshaft.

I've done it twice. The 1st time it was amazing and launched so hard, the 2nd time it bogged down.

I've used it several times and I've found it to be a bit inconsistent... I never get a terrible launch, but it's rarely a great one. Turn the sound up on this video, and you can see I'm well through 1st gear before full power is transferred. So I'd sum it up by saying launch control is ok... but not great.

Unless I've missed something, the no lift shift is only available on the ZL1 and ZR1. You can conduct a no lift shift in the 1LE but you need to be quick. The RPM's will continue to climb during that shift.

153 mph. Strong heads winds (12-17 mph) and hot! Best speed are always in the morning when it's cool. That speed is about right for a good running S/S with tune and CAI. I'm looking forward to running again this October, to see what the Long Tubes and high flows contributed... and with a little luck, not such a strong head wind! Embarrassingly, my wife's car (SLK-55 AMG) ran 158 mph bone stock!

No clue, I heard from a member of tri county Camaro that the 14s have a set torque cut that is used for no lift shift.

I originally thought it was for the cobalt SS/TC, ZR1 and ZL1. But then again you would probably know more than me considering you own a 14 and I don't.
