I can tell you tthat nothing is gonna work except good DRs or slick, but you are auto so you might do better job than me even on street tires! On the plus side, I found the DRs to be a lot easier on the drivetrain; no hard bang or wheel hop slipping the clutch.

Yea I'm hoping these sticky street tires will hook up. Our track we have over here was totally stripped down about 6-8 inches deep from the start line all the way down to the big end and professionally redone. It used to be called "Orlando slip and slide" due to the bad condition it was in, now since they have redone it, the cars that run 6's are hooking and running 6's! And faster cars are getting down the track well. They run NHRA sanctioned events over here all the time now since it is so nice and now it is a popular place to go. Once a year they have the " World Outlaw Street Nationals" event here and man is that fun to watch, runs for 3 days around October. So we will just have to go over and see how it goes. I ran 12.68 best on street tires with the headers, CAI, tune and exhaust.

Well it should be good!! I've only manage only 12.4@118 on street tires. 0-60 always in the 2.2 range.

Funny you say that. I have the "updated" version of whammo's cam..and I think all TSP did was bump the exhaust duration up 10 degrees, from a 231/236 to a 231/246 setup. From their dyno graphs, it looks like that netted them ~13 hp or so up top.

Awesome results Whammo, and that intake is a thing of beauty! Making me think it's time for one on mine so I can really let her rip!

N/M... I see you're in a Corvette.

What kills ET in the 5th Gen is weight.

Heck, my race weight was almost 4100lbs with me in the drivers seat and 3/4 tank of fuel.

If my race weight was at C6 Vette and I was on a sticky tire / drag pack, I'd been faster, too.

I really say its time to let her rip!! Those stock manifold are done at 6600. I wish their new stage 3 was out at the time i bought it, but I'm still happy with the performance so far. Car freaking rips everything at 3500 and pulls forever!!

Might try another grind before head porting. car has only 40k miles.

What Toyo tire is on the back?

You just need some practice and traction. Just keep at it, you obviously have some good HP for the MPH.

I think when Lazer went 11.56/120 in the 1LE his 60 ft time was only around 1.8, so you can see improving that 60 makes a huge difference.

Beech Bend Raceway must spray a lot of glue down cause all the cars that run there have good times I have noticed.

Any videos?
