Welcome to the Chevy family

You have a good plan, For whatever my opinion is worth.

Have fun in that hot rod. They will usually do a little more than you think.
Don’t be afraid to get your hands in there and do some stuff either. That part can be fun to.

I installed an Edelbrock E-Force S/C when my SS had 15K miles on it. It now has 62K miles on it. I don't drag it or any other type of racing with it. I just have fun on the street. See below for mods and dyno numbers. It's as strong as a ZL1.

I bought mine earlier this year with the intent on making it stronger than a ZL1, but on a similar budget. I am all in for about $40k and couldn't be happier.

Anytime you supercharge a car or add nitrous you never really know how long or short it's motor lifespan will be. You have to be prepared to repair or replace it when it comes right down to it.

I got my cam and maggy installed when the car had about 44k miles on it and now with just over 58k miles she's still running really strong. Just make sure you work with a good shop and an excellent tuner.

I had a leak down and compression tests done by the shop before installing everything. Engine was solid. This was my daily my daily driver until a few years ago.
