There are no performance chips that can be installed, you would need to have a dyno tune or a handheld custom tune done via the OBDII port with a computer or handheld programmer.

As already mentioned, you'll need a dyno tune.

Is keeping your powertrain warranty of concern to you?

May I suggest you do "further searching" on ANY question you may have. Not saying you won't have a question that no ones ever asked before but at least spend the 5-10min it takes to find out.

do a handheld tuner if you plan on doing any other modifications as it will be cheaper. when u get to a point that you are satisfied go get a dyno tune.

Lol please don't get that!
Safest way to get rid of it is tune it off!

I think may have the wrong impression about the "Range"...

Quote:
Range optimizes your performance by better identifying your driving situations helping you get more miles out of a gallon of gas.

Active Fuel Management, available on most GM trucks and SUVs, helps lower fuel costs by enabling V8 engines to behave like four-cylinder engines when cruising with light loads, while seamlessly unleashing their full muscle whenever needed.

However, our testing has shown that factory installed AFM only drops to 4 cylinders 35% of the time even though the average driver requires full performance just 10% of the time. Through a sophisticated load-based algorithm, Range allows you to drive in V4 mode 90% of the time - saving an average driver 65 gallons per year, or about $250.

Could be great for saving gas??? Unless it has a disable AFM option, everything I have read about it previously leads me to believe more time in AFM mode to "save fuel"...
