Radio issue - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok so this has happened in all 3 of the 4th gens i have owned. Doesn't matter if the car is moving, sitting still, if the volume is up high or down low. The volume changes on its own at random times or switches sources. The head unit is an Alpine, newer but the same thing happened with an earlier model as well. The first 2 cars did not have steering wheel controls and the 2002 does. I am at a complete loss as to what causes this. Anyone else have this happen? Anyone fixed it?
