Window indexing

I'm just curious as to if anyone else has/have experienced this problem. Just a quick run down this is my second time getting my driver's side window tinted. So as you know the Chevy Camaro offers us the automatic indexing glass

Well for some strange reason as my driver's window goes up and down it seemed to have rubbed out the rubber strip. Which now catches on to my tint which causes it(tint) to roll down. The picture below is where my tint guy just placed some extra tint to see if we can seal the original tint tighter. he said leave it there for a few days and then we'll pull it off and what what happens. (I know it looks crazy, but I was like go ahead cause I have totally ran out of options.)

Took it to a dealer near me to see if maybe they could offer a solution, but they were useless . Why some of them are still employed is besides me. can anyone offer any suggestions please

Ran into a similar issue on my dad's C6 Vettes and figured out that by just rolling the window down a TINY bit, I mean like a fraction of an inch, it won't self index up. Only needed to leave it that way for a few days and it was all good. Fresh tint pulls away easy, but once its on there for a few days it should be fine.

Never seen it like that. Mine crinkled at the bottom the first time. Best advice is do it when it's really warm outside and give it some time to cure before closing and opening the door

The second time around of installment . I gave it a whole day and a half. I didn't have to drive the cAr so it was resting. I thought that would be ample time for it to cure. Guess I was wrong.
