Used ID850
Hey guys I'm about to overdrive my lower pulley 10% exhaust and intake wanted to also do injectors to be safe as well have room to grow for future mods. I have found a few nice low millage sets of used ID 850 almost half the cost of new. My question is should I stay away from used parts they have less than 5000 miles on them just very tempting being able to save $500 thanks

Nothing wrong with those if they all work. If buying used ID's, send them in to have them flow tested before installing them.

I don't disagree with sending them in to be checked but if you do that the cost savings over new starts diminishes if you add $235 (servicing price plus s/h insurance both ways). I purchased a used set from a forum member I trusted and feel like it was good for both of us. Got me a needed upgrade and helped pay for his upgrade too.
If you can't trust the seller or need to service them I would rather purchase a different companies set brand new for the same price or pay $300 more for new ID1050x's. |
