CASH or FINANCE 2010 Camaro's ???
Just would like to know how many of us paid cash and how many are financing and at what rate? and what down payment? I heard with 50% down and excellent credit one can get 4.9% Normal since there are no incentives I hear GMAC is like 8.2% Post your info for others. Every bit of info helps. Paying cash for mine unless I get 4.9%

Cash (check!) for mine, but I have access to 4.5% at 100% through my Credit Union if I wanted (4 years, 6.5 for 5 or 6 years).

next yeaar when I buy, I'm going to put 5k-10k. Finance the rest at any percent. I'll just be happy getting the car. My credit is less than perfect. If I could get 100%, Id order my car right now.

I was able to use $1,093.00 in GM Card earnings redemption - that was my entire balance although I have the original card with no limit on redemption value as the later card is limited.
I did try to get either the GM Supplier Discount or the Credit Union member discount but the Dealer would not honor those as is their right under those programs. If I have been able to use either discount it would've been about $980 as I recall and I would've kept my earnings for a future purchase. Along with my trade-in and GM Card my total cash out of pocket was ~$13,900. - not a bad deal to own a new legend...

Don't forget the USAA Incentive
Don't forget if you are a USAA member, you can get $750 GM incentive on a 2010 GM car.

So, I'm paying 1/2 cash and 1/2 financing through Randolph Brooks. I am going to get 3.8, but might opt for the $600 extended warranty (not powertrain, since that is already at 5 years/100,000 miles....this warranty is for all the other little stuff). If I opt for that, my APR goes down to 3.55% for 66 months. Not bad at all. |

Thanks for the info. I too have an original GM card - I redeemed $2700 on a 1999 Monte back in the day. Been saving up points ever since to own my own Legend. Yours is a beauty Much luck and thanks again.

Thanks - my best redemption was $2,200 on a 2001 Grand Prix. even though there's no limit to redemption as with the newer GM Card the $500 cap per year and losing any earnings over 5 years now keeps us at $2,500 max. We used another $1,500 on a 2005 Grand Prix, so over the 12+ years we've redeemed ~$4,700. Recent letter from GM indicates they're still supporting the card...
