Looks like a commercial from the 80's... I'd think if it really worked it would at least be on store shelves by now.

Yep. I had mine professionally applied. However, the key to a great job is to have the paint "corrected" FIRST. That entails removing any swirl marks, etc., from the paint prior to Ceramic Pro.
