RS headlight conversion no high beams
I have a 2012 Camaro LT, I am doing the RS headlight conversion on. I did not buy the harness I just wired the halo to fuse 15 like everyone does and wired the and low beam to low beam ground to ground and high beam to high beam. My problem is that everything works like it should except the high beams when you go to turn them on they are on for maybe half a second then they shut off anyone have any ideas about this

Hi, there was a thread about non RS to RS https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showp...81&postcount=9
Maybe, you will find it helpful if your problem is with the harness. Also, I think there is some link between having DRLs on and not having enough power for RS halo high beams. Check Oracle's website or what was your kit's manufacturer. Maybe they have some clues I looked up some charts to see if this Camaro was easily compatible with LEDs, but they mostly say it's versatile. Which usually tells me it has issues with anything but OEM halogens. Like, if it was like this Malibu, all set for LED headlights, it would have been more reassuring Last edited by Sofa_Expert; 11-18-2022 at 10:19 AM. Reason: looked up more info |
