Your impressions and thoughts after some time of ownership ?

Howdy Folks !

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. I hope all of you are having a great time burning rubber in your Camaro's.

I have a few questions for those who have had this vehicle for sometime.

1) After a year or so of ownership, do you have any regrets? If so, what are they ?

2) How has car aged ? ( in terms of how the car has been running, any squeaks or rattles that are starting to turn up, any mechanical issues)

3) Since new model cars are coming out i.e Mustang 5.0, Hyundai Genesis Coupe, has it made you consider looking at other cars and potentially have you cross to the "other" side ?

Let me know, as I am eager to read your responses.

I'm still as pleased with my car as I was when I bought in July 2009. My only minor complaint is the paint, but for one year old it has minimal chips and scratches.

well i've only had mine since March, but I'll chime in anyway because I'm bored at work haha

1. None. The ONLY thing I MIGHT do differently is add the connectivity package. It would be nice to stream my music through bluetooth. Other than that, everything is exactly the way I want it.

2. again, only 6 months old really, but it's held up well. I've got 14000+ km's on it already so it's seen more road than some who've had theirs much longer. My drivers side seatbelt receiver squeaks a bit if it's in a certain position. But other than that, rock solid.

3. I really like the new mustang. Not enough to switch, but enough to give credit where it's due. I personally shopped all the pony cars when I bought mine, even tested a Genesis, Evo, and STi. The 1SS I ended up getting just checked many more boxes than the others. Looks, Warranty, Power/$, Comfort, the list goes on. Not really tempted by anything other than maybe an '11 GT-500, but I don't have that kinda cash haha.

18000 miles and counting she'll be 1yr old first week of September.

1.) Heck no!..if anything, shoulda ordered her sooner!
2.) Aging great- paint has taken a beating, but its my daily driver and its expected. exhaust was faulty a couple months back, but chevy took care of it no questions asked.
3. hahahaha... snowball's chance...

No regrets.

Only aging complaint is the tires.

Not looking at other cars. I may look for a crew-cab pick up a few years down the road for a second car.

1) 6-11-09 delivery, 24000 miles - No regrets, love this car!!!
2) No squeaks/rattles, runs and looks just like it did when I bought it. Other than some road rash if you know what I mean. It is a DD on the freeways of Houston, hence the mileage, but no mechanical issues or anything. Should I knock on wood??? Just sayin'...
3) I thought "Do I want to trade mine for the Z28?" Would love to but won't be able to afford that I don't think. My next car will be the current year model 2SS when I trade, just like what I have now. If for some reason it is not offered/made anymore, then I might not trade. Will NEVER own a Mustang. Test drove one in 1999 - HATED IT!!! Like being in a box, a small box. Bought a TA, liked it much better. Will always go with GM Muscle if it is available new.

One year old- delivered to me 8/21/09 and after 8300 miles my SW SS is still perfect.
Why would anyone consider driving anything else ? Nothing compares in my opinion.

1 - No
2 - At 11190 miles. No issues. Except a few paint chips.
3 - No way in Hell. I would get an old Camaro if I did not have this one.

1 - No
2 - 4800 miles and running strong. stupid minor paint chips on the front fascia from typical highway junk
3 - This is my fun car, and I love it. I wouldn't want any other car in place of it.

4500 miles great fun, everything I hoped for, Love this car,
No problems and I drive it hard! ( and I push the car too, lol)
Drive the '78 Z for a blast from the past
I don't like musty stangs or taxi cab challengers,
Daily beater is an Intrepid, thats what Mopar is for.
