The weakest link TR6060 & Slave

So I recently finished a several year long build. My new setup is putting down over 800rwhp and the only thing stock is the TR6060 still. I have a Mcleod twin disc clutch. When I was putting this together I tried to plan ahead and replace the bearing support with a monster billet one. I ended up destroying the factory and one factory replacement slave cylinder. Everytime I replaced the bearing support when I would go to bleed the slave it would pretty much blow up and throw fluid all over. Finally just stuck a fully factory (unmolested) slave in and it functioned as normal. Only other thing done to the trans was swapping out the factory fluid with redline ATF. Now occasionally while driving I will not be able to shift into our out of gear. Just randomly, only about 1300 miles on the build. I checked the fluid level yesterday and noticed the gear box was pressurized when I opened it, sound like slowly opening a can of soda. With the engine off I can shift through gears easily, most of the time when i am driving I can do the same, it just randomly gets stuck in gear or refuses to go into gear. Then on the next shift its like nothings wrong. Any ideas or experience with this from anyone else?

Oh and is our trans vented or sealed?

sealed...you did notice the trans lines going to the radiator? it's understandable tho I have not experienced the hissing...I always make sure its cool or cold before opening...

one thing I have noticed is that until my trans gets warmed up(RP fluid) it's still notchy in the 2 and 3 shift....afterwards it shifts like butter...

now other than a shifter bushing that might be wearing out prematurely(what is the cars mileage) I wonder if the clutch itself my be havin a prob....you stated that twice fluid splashed all over....was the clutch checked/cleaned before being used again? just throwin some spitballs at ya...I can't believe it's an internal trans prob...that would be an almost constant issue...(was the trans fluid checked for any debris?)

good luck man...keep us updated......peace

Fluid never got on the clutch itself, 1300 miles on the build. Just shy of 14k on the trans I am assuming that the issue is not internal to the trans. Clutch works good, it holds nice no real issues with that. Like every now and then I will go to pull the car out of gear into neutral. It will fight me then in neutral the shifter will not let move it side to side. Almost want to let a tranny shop drive to car.

Did you reuse the Monster bearing support in?

How much free play in the clutch before it starts to engage? I have a mcleod and a stock slave cylinder and only have about an inch from the floor before the clutch is starting to engage. Sometimes at high rpm hard acceleration I can't shift up until the clutch gets fully disengaged.

I want to figure out how to get it farther off the floor before engaging.

If it shifts fine with engine off but not when running and sitting still, the only difference is the input shaft is spinning from clutch engagement.

I have the rxt and when it had zero miles, it engaged very close to the floor. Now with only 90 miles on it, its the complete oposite. It engages all the way at the top of the pedal travel. Makes it hard to drive in parking lots. No hard runs yet, still breaking it in.

Im guessing it may have to do with bleeding the system again.
