SACRILEGE!
Is this really a question? Find a friend or buy a truck.

The hide away hitch is the way to go. You can easily get one installed that will not look gaudy at all. The tongue and rack most likely will easily store in the trunk when not in use.

reciever hitch bike carrier if it's available would be the best I think, nothing touches the car. It would be cool if there is something like the hide away plate cover reciever that was popular for the trucks.

It's funny a-holes can try to make pickup trucks and SUVs into sports cars and thats ok but add a hidden hitch to your camaro and all of a sudden your going to be towing a camper in most peoples eyes. I ha've a hidden hitch in my 4rth gen for bikes that's all their for so they won't dent scratch the car all these trunk cariers damage your trunk over time. They sometimes bring a hitch cover to somewhat hide it when not in use. Hidden hitch brand is the way to go. since I allready have it on the 4rth gen don't need one on the 2010 .

Camaro. The South's Ferrari.
You think they freak out when you say you want to put a bike rack on the Camaro, you should have seen how many bricks got shitted when I said that the Camaro was on my possibility list for a new car because it was a cheap sports car that gets good gas milage. Heh. Some people on this site are really out of their mind. However, I vote for Receiver rack. They are the best kind of rack to have period, and I think it's really the only choice for the Camaro anyway.

Yeah, I totally need a huge SUV with a V8 to pull a 40 pound bike around. That make a lot of sense. Way more sense then putting a tiny receiver on the back of my fuel efficient Camaro. This whole thread is now obsolete, someone please lock it!

Asking somewhat realistic questions here, you will get yourself a lot of pretty stupid answers. So far about 85% of the ones I've read are ridiculous.

Thats kind of ignorant...
And yes I'm looking at getting a bike rack too. And yes it would ONLY be on two and from the trail. To the OP, best I've seen so far is EXACTLY the one you've posted. As for roof racks, they wont be any less likely to damage the car but you WILL have to lift the bike up over the roof. To me, never lifting the bike OVER any part of the car is a HUGE bonus. And honestly, what I think I've decided is I'm going to get some soft foam rubber to put under the harder rubber stops on that type of rack, and just glue them on to the rack so they rest on the soft foam. Past that, there is NO reason the trunk shouldn't handle it. If it doesn't then GM has some s'plainin' to do.
