REMEMBER!!!

When you are enjoying the holiday festivities that Memorial Day brings, please pause for a moment and offer a toast to the men and women of our Armed Forces serving around the world, but especially in Iraq and Afghanistan. Surely it can be said that we are on the front line contributing in the fight against terrorists and fanatical extremists. But we get to go home (almost) every night. We get to kiss our loved ones, enjoy the comforts of a home cooked meal, warm bed, hot shower. We go to sleep without the sounds of gunfire, explosions or aircraft as a backdrop. And we don’t wear a military uniform that has become a bulls eye for terrorists when we go to work!

Sadly, many have forgotten that we enjoy all of the benefits of freedom and democracy because of the blood and sacrifices of our Armed Forces. So when you pass them in the airport or on the street, take a moment to thank them for their service and the sacrifices they (and their families) make in defense of our country.

Have a great Memorial Day Holiday!

GODSPEED!

SOPMOD...OUT!
