Hi all, I just recently got my 2011 LT, I am wondering if LT1 is supposedly came with remote keyless engine starter? On my key there is a button for the engine starter but it didn't work, so I am wondering if that's a defect or LT1 didn't came with that feature?

If you have an automatic transmission, it should have remote start.

It is standard on LT, SS, and ZL1 models with automatic transmissions.

If its on the remote you should have it
Did you press door lock first then hold down the start button?

Hit door lock twice... hold start button for at least three seconds.

for 2011 it is optional on the 1lt and comes with the Convenience and Connectivity Package with automatic trans. At least that is what my 2011 brochure says.

I think your right. I just read that in the brochure.
