Just check out the supercharged stock displacement fast list and see how many mod's those guys have, just to run your same time. Congrat's to all three of you, Mike you can sure drive stick buddy. I wish I could run those times, hopefully some day. Good luck
All you need is tires buddy! And hell yes Michael can drive the crap out of a stick! But you'll be way past us when the 4l80e goes in and you get the stciky tires!

Just curious so answer this;

If I change the carb on my '67 and put a Holley on it is that a bolt on? The TB on my ZL would be the equivalent to the carb on my '67 would it not! Even if I had to do a couple mods to make the carb fit would it still not be a bolt on?

Agree with whoever earlier said that once you open up the engine and start changing internal components than it's no longer a bolt on. I'm sure there are some determinations in the NHRA rule book if someone really wanted to dig into it but until I read this thread I didn't even know there was a fast list.

,that's a power adder. Did not come with that and you did not modify a bolt on part.
And for above poster, yes a carb is still a bolt on. As long as it came with one

My buddy (mustang guy) and I have a running joke that there is "stock", then there is "mustang stock". It came about when the new 5.0's came out because we kept hearing all these hard to belive "stock" times, but when questioned further or upon further inspection at the track they were modified to some degree. So the conclusion was that Mustangs that have drag radials, cai, suspension work, or exhaust work in any combination are still called stock, so there must be a new definition of stock called mustang stock.
