Today at work I saw about 15 or so IOM's
and about 6-7 Aqua Blue ones...

Trust me people.. they are producing every color right now..
That vin tracking system isnt entirely correct.

Take care,
Dylan

Dylan,

Would you elaborate on "isn't entirely correct". Do you think some of the data is incorrect or do you basically mean the data is incomplete because of the VINs not found?

Ouch Doubtful though. Lots of members at this site ordered IOM. Must be that the spreadsheet we are seeing is not perfect since Dylan says they are being made. My order got pulled for production 2-27 and I still have no TPW from the dealer.
Lets hope that lots of us get surprised. Its great that we have people from the plant here on the site to help us out.

I should add that I'm told by people on the inside that everything is shot on site (no painting of panels outside the paint plant - Dylan can probably confirm) and the Oshawa paint line can shoot up to 10 different colours - at any time. So they don't have to do them in batches of the same colour (one of the Oshawa advantages). Now there may be some other logistics reasons for batching them - for that you'd have to talk to a plant engineer.

I order my aqua blue first week of november and I was told from my dealership I would get my car in October. How do you know when your car is being built or keeping track of it?

i mean im not sure cuz i wasnt around back then but when ever i picture a 69 camaro...i picture it blue with white stripes...maybe cuz thats what my dad had back in the day

I saw a blue one at my dealership yesterday while I was getting the oil changed on my cgm 2SS/RS. All I can say was it was blue, it did nothing at all for me. It was about as exciting as the blue neon my neighbor drives.... Sorry blue lovers. I'd put it on the bottom of my color list with white and green ... btw, I'm not sure which blue it was, it was on the medium/dark side, very.... bland.
