went window shopping camaro zl1's at several dealerships wednesday. seems as if champion chevrolet, monument chevrolet and a few others around town were stuck on the 6-15k$ markup. well i stopped by norman frede chevrolet and sure enough they had 2. an agm zl1 convertible and a white zl1 coupe. i was excited to see the coupe at this point, but my heart sunk a little when i seen it was automatic. however upon talking to the salesman he agreed to dealer trade a vehicle on the lot for a black m6 13 zl1 non sunroof coupe. well it showed up this morning and i took delivery of it. here it is 8 hours later and i still have the grin ear to ear. this car is nothing short of amazing. however i still kept the 2010 2ss/rs i bought almost 4 years ago as i have grown attached to it. with that said , if anyone is looking for a great deal on a zl1 go see chad jones or richard schoolcraft at norman frede . pics coming sson.

Congrats man! I was hesitant at first to pull the trigger on black because it's so hard to keep clean but man does it look good when its clean.

Congrats! I went and talked to them as well. Those are some decent folks over there...just good car guys. Anyway, glad you got your deal done!!...BTW, the AGM you speak of is actually BRM....unless they traded that one too.

Glad you were able to make a deal with them. I had been trying to do a deal on the white one for a while but they just kept going on over MSRP. Well it has sat there for 1 1/2 months now and they called wanting MSRP. Great guys but they keep blaming the price on the GM, she supposedly says she does not want to take less than MSRP or slightly less than MSRP. So I told them no Thanks. I am now glad to hear they are starting to realize these cars are not gold and more and more are now sitting on lots.

More proof that they need to offer a better blue on the Camaro. When their dark blue color is easily mistaken for dark gray or for black, then it is too dark!

I 1000% agree. I literally got all excited because I saw a "Black" vert ZL!....which is what I wanted. And then proceeded to press my face against the window and saw that it was an Automatic and then went on into the dealership without even realizing it was blue. I was talking to one of the managers and they said that they had just got a "Blue" ZL1 vert in and I was asking where it was....and then he just pointed to the "Black" one that I had literally caressed with my hand never knowing it was blue.......weird color if you ask me. But hey, different strokes!!!

Well , i just checked things up in your dealer , and they only have one ZL1 , white , Black 10 spokes wheels , but the engine it's a 5,3 l ? WTH ?
