This really is a shame for a car barely 5 years old

You are correct in that $1400 is way too much to have to pay for a known GM issue on the 5th bow. Forget calling the dealer. You MUST CALL GM CUSTOMER SERVICE. Explain all and how MANY have experienced this issue with Camaro Convertibles. Ask if this problem is NORMAL to occur after 5 years? Obviously the answer will be NO. GM needs to work with you on this and send you to a dealer that has fixed this issue before. Even if that means a little drive on your part. Don't let the dealer try to blow you off!!!!

GM Customer Service sucks. Badly. I have personally experienced their utter lack of concern over a clear dealer issue that flies thier flag and they don’t give a damn. I love my Camaro, but I’ll probably never own another GM car and I talk everyone I can out of buying one.

I know I’m resurrecting an old thread but Todd’s, how does the big piece beside the back seat come off?

Update: one of you guys put be on to tech bulletin PIC5458D and the one about the door seal leaking. Both doors are leaking but the big deal is item 5 in the tech bulletin. Both sides are leaking down that seam. Now what? In my mind that’s manufacturing defect.
