Anyone running AP Racing brakes?

Specifically referring to their massive 16" rotor kit.

If so, please post pics!! I have yet to see this kit actually on a car.

Thanks!

Wouldn't mind seeing that. Probably more brake than necessary. What's the minimum wheel needed?

I have the CTS-V/ZL1 upgrade and it is more than enough for all but the most serious applications.

Have not seen it but he CTS-V upgrade seems tobe the best bang for your buck.

I have a 2011 Camaro SS in the shop right now. He will be getting the Front and Rear AP Kit installed on Monday.

This is a Front 6 piston 16" rotor and Rear 4 piston 15" rotor Big Brake Kit!

I will be posting pictures of the install starting next week for all of you to see.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks

JT

those rotors and calipers are massive and look like they weigh more than the stock wheels, and details on the weights? are these just show kits? confused by the 22 inch wheel

The Front and Rear kits on this vehicle were specifically designed for 22" wheels and for the street. This is not a Race kit. The customer got these for show but still wanted the stopping power and this kit does it! You can probably fit 21" wheels depending on the style. The customer already had the 22" wheels on so these 2 kits fit perfectly behind it. The Front kit weighs around 35 lbs and the rear kit weighs around 30 lbs. That includes the rotors, calipers, pads and hardware.

This vehicle is also Supercharged.

We are introducing 2 more kits this year at SEMA.

1 kit is for 18" wheels for the guys who are racing/track/drag and the other kit will fit behind the stock 20's.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks

JT

What about the AP Racing 6-Piston Big Brake Kits, same deal?
They won't fit on 20" wheels?
I have the Factory Reproduction Style 41 zl1 Wheels, the fronts are 20x10 with offset of 35mm
