What's this mechanic doing to my car?

Had a window replaced at the dealership today. I left my dashcam in, which starts recording whenever the engine is running. You can see a clip from the footage below. At one point (long before they actually did the window) the mechanic opens my hood, feels around in the front left part of the engine bay for a second, then about 10 seconds later he pours some water in that area. I would have thought he was topping off the radiator, but the cap is in the center, and this guy is pouring water on the left.

Seriously whoever said pouring into intake is dumb lmao. As you can see as he pours the end of your hood drips, that's where the liquid comes out from your wiper fluid, so yes, he's topping your fluid off.

Just realized youre down 70 about 1 hour from me. How come youre already getting a window replaced on a 2015?

It had a few clusters of small scratches at the top of it. My guess is they had a banner or two clipped onto it at one time.

You're in Orlando? My dealer is about at the halfway point between us, in Brandon. Sure is nice to not have to deal with all the winter automotive issues that so many others here have, eh?

Thanks to all that pointed out the wiper fluid answer (and now I know where to fill my wiper fluid, too!).

Absolutely! I actually just came from NJ a little over a month ago. Unfortunately, my 1 year in NJ has lead to multiple tiny chips on the windshield... its so annoying. I'm in okeechobee right now, but I'll be in Orlando in about a week.

I gave myself motivation to do my cam swap. I cant move to Orlando until the car is operable lol.

Totally looks like he's adding water though, not washer fluid
