Anyone else thinking about lowering the front only?
I love the way my Camaro looks but I grew up in the street racing days of the 70s and think a retro look with the front end dropped about an inch and the rear staying the same would look great. Has anyone tried this?
I'd also like to get some 20" wheels that look like the old Crager SS wheels. Any thoughts? KW

I just finished the front springs on my 1LT (pfadt springs). I love the slight forward lean/rake of the car like this, but don't like the rear tire gap. I may leave it like this, even with the rear gap. I really wish I could put a taller tire on the back and still retain stabilitrack/traction control functionality. Does anyone know if it's possible (on other cars, since I'm not sure what's tunable on the v6's computer yet) to "tune" different tire sizes into the car and still have stabilitrac work? Here are some pics, I'll have to get some better in the light tomorrow: |

I like it. Plus I believe a slight rake like that helps with gas mileage.

I installed the Eibach 1" drop springs on my 2SS and i remember reading either in the instructions or on Eibachs website that you should NOT use just the front springs that they are designed to be used as a set.You may want to call the mfg of the springs you are using to make sure you dont run into a safety/reliability issue by just doing the front??
