BMR Suspension's - Project Trilo-G
BMR would like to formally introduce you to “Project Trilo-G”. This is our 2010 Camaro SS shop car that has made a few cameo appearances on Camaro5.com in the past as we were testing out some new products. However, until now, we haven’t made an exclusive “BMR Project Car” thread highlighting all the great stuff we have done to this car and what we plan to do in the future. The “Trilo-G” concept originates from the three areas of performance driving that we want to be able to dominate: Drag Racing, Performance Handling (Road Course and/or Autocross), and Street Performance. While optimizing the car for each of these conditions, we want to be able to achieve 1 g-force of launch acceleration, 1 g-force of brake acceleration, and 1 g-force lateral acceleration.
Of course we don’t plan on trying to successfully accomplish these goals all at the same time, but rather in 3 distinct phases. We want to show you the modifications that we chose to perform in order to provide the best performance in each of those 3 areas of high performance driving. We are already deep into Phase 1 – Drag Racing. So in Phase 1, we will be showing you the modifications that have already been done to the car and detailing our accomplishments at the drag strip with the car. Our goal here is to obtain 1g launch acceleration on the drag strip. Not only will we be showing you the suspension (which we are particularly proud of), but also other areas, such as the engine, transmission, wheels/tires, forced induction, fuel system, and any other modifications that we feel are pertinent to building a successful drag car. In Phase 2 – Performance Handling, we will showcase the changes we make that will turn Project Trilo-G into a real “corner carver”, and lead the pack at road course and autocross events. During Phase 2, we want to be able to achieve 1g of lateral acceleration and 1g of braking acceleration while at the track. In Phase 3 – Street Performance, we will tone it down a bit, and show you what modifications we feel are necessary to have a performance handling machine with enough “street manners” to make it fully capable of daily driving. We will be updating this thread on a regular basis with new pictures and highlights of individual components, installations, and associated pertinent systems. Feel free to ask any questions along the way. So sit back, read along, and enjoy our journey with Project Trilo-G. A special thanks to Chevy High Performance magazine for a select couple of pictures below.... |

Since "Suspension" is the name of our game, we thought we'd show you the rear suspension that Project Trilo-G is currently running. This, of course with some other goodies, is what has helped our little red rocket achieve low 1.30 60-foot times and low 9-second ET's. All of these suspension components are exactly what you can purchase directly from our website or through any BMR distributor.

The Gforce 9" looks great under the BMR shop car. This is also the same exact 9" and BMR suspension set up we have on our display that some may have seen at the shows.
Keep up the great work guys! |

Thanks Chris!!! The Gforce 9" with the Strange Pro HD Aluminum center section is a BEAST!!! Easily takes anything we can throw at it, and saves about 20 lbs. over the standard center section!!!
