Well they better because Detroit Speed Double adjustable coilovers are $6300 vs BC Racing at $1000 for the whole set. They are the goto coilover for serious use.

Yes to above. I have been in buddy’s car setup for roadrace and autocross, similar to mine. Dse were smooth, even though valved more aggressively then my Pedders, and those are more aggressive then bc. Ridetechs are the same it appears. My friends 2010 with ridetech on bumpy asphalt roads is more comfortable and soaks up bumps set on stiff, way better then mine on a softer setting. A lot to do with ride is a compromised rear setup on bc vs a true coilover design. That and 448 lb front springs vs 300-350 on dse, ridetech and others I have been told

Ridetech and Detroit speed will allow you to use any spring weights you want to achieve your goals and DSE (and I think Ridetech) use Hyperco springs as well. What I found with the JRI struts in the DSE is that the valving can cover a very wide range of spring weights without having to be re valved.

Again I am a big fan of the JRI stuff and it out competes most of the bigger top tier brands like Penske, Moton ect when you look at dynamic measurements on shock dynos and the number of race teams using them. That in addition to the fact that all the other coilovers I have tried have not come close to the same comfort with the ability to dial up the aggressiveness on the street or track. They definitely are pricey and get more so going from single, to double and triple adjustables. One disclaimer is I have not tried anything else in the same price point as the DSE and all the comparisons I have are to much less expensive platforms (ie LG Motorsports, BC BR ,Koni yellow with BMR springs, and the Ride techs)
