20% off MSRP - can dealer do better?
Last month, I was interested in getting a 2016 2LT/RS in Hyper Blue that my dealer was offering for a substantial amount off MSRP. I decided to hold off.
Now that it's October, there is a 20% of MSRP Cash Back offer on the car. Sticker price is $41,070 and Chevy's website is listing it at $32,856. I'm looking to spend no more than $30k on a Camaro. Do you think I can get the dealer down that much, or is that too unreasonable? |

Yep haggle
I got a 22% discount overall 2 weeks ago with a 16% tag. I got 16% tag, plus dealer discount plus dealer holdback. Msrp was $46030 got it for $36000 at $10000 off sticker. You should be able go get it for close to $30500, but it will take a little work. Play several dealers against each other, send out multiple emails to get leads. I got a 2016 Hyper Blue RS, V6, A8, convenience group, convertible. I love it!

Yes, for sure you can. In San Diego there are a couple dealers, there is a forum member at Weseloh Chevy his name is Ian and he has been hooking people up on bonus tag 2016's for 25%+ off MSRP depending on model, etc.
I bought mine for 25% off or just a bit above, and people have been getting as much as 27%, but it all varies by location for sure. Most Dealers in socal here are complete jokes. |

I just got a 2016 convertible with a sticker of 38,635 for 27,000. I think that is 31% off. Even sweeter I had 1,917 on my GM card. This was at Quirk Chevy in Braintree MA. They only have 2016 convertibles left. I wanted to trade in but I didn't think they came close to the value of my car so I just bought it with out a trade. Their straight pricing seems incredible to me though.

The '16's are disappearing quickly, at least on the west coast. I've wasted a week chasing a couple deals, and ended up with the same deal I started with at the beginning of the week. make sure its the car you want, and pull the trigger, or someone else will. . .
