Yeah, I bought mine from China and it's still works perfectly lol and as I recall I paid about $25 for it. I guess I got lucky cause I know not all the stuff from China is dependable. I just looked to see if they still sell them and had no problem finding some but they don't say Camaro specific and I don't see them in black either.

I can find every year but the 14/15 with Black bow ties. Who knew it would be so hard to find them. Maybe I'll try the vinyl insert/cover.

You could always try plasti-dip spray too, that way if you' not happy with the result just peel it back off.

I think I am going to try the Plasti Dip, Honestly I could just leave it at my buddies bodyshop for a day or so and he would paint it any color / shade I want I was just looking for a quick easy option.

I ordered Some Satin 3M Vinyl wrap to do the Chrome trim above the grill/Headlights, and I am going to try it on the front bow tie, I think I may remove the rear and leave it off along with the Camaro on the fender. I know the Bow tie has raised bumps but some say the wrap works.

Hopefully Satin is the right color to kinda match the grill.

My tint guy was over and he thinks he can get the vinly to stick over the factory Bowtie, We talked about using either Satin or Matte Black 3M vinyl, to go over gold front and rear and then wrapping the Chrome strip in front that SS/RS cars come with and doing just the outer face of the Camaro on the fenders.

Matte or Satin?

Just plasti-dip it, it's so easy. No need to mask specific area or trim with a knife!

I was going to but not sure of long term how it'll go up, my body's body shop said he could paint it while we are installing side skirts.

The Vinyl came out great, I used Matte black 3M 2080 , left the chrome part of the Bow tie and also did the RS trim and the face of the Camaro on the fender.

Yep. Cheap and easy to work with. Mine’s been on for a couple years and no worse for wear.
