What they didn't say is that it would make it sound like a 350Z. Awesome.
Awe, rats! Well I have that setup along with the MRTv2 Axelback with the resonators deleted, with 4" tips, and my ride sounds really good for a V6. Maybe you could try that, or find someone with that setup so you could hear it.

It took away the sound and cut the volume 90% in my honest opinion.
1-3k RPM sounds great. 3-7K sound like stock.

Do yall think going from my setup. Longtubes, no cats, no res, mrt 2 to having 2.5 throughout with a resonator? You think itll quiet a bit? Or be louder

Adding a resonator will quiet it down. that's why everyone had a hard on for the magnaflow x-pipe. In reality, its a muffler with an x-pipe style. A resonator is designed to slow down airflow, when this happens, it quiets it down.

No offense, but the reason I put the Magnaflow "x-pipe" on was to get rid of the loud rasp. Not the loud, and now its quiet. And I think I will be chopping stock resonators off..

It'll quiet a bit. The 2.5 makes it sound deeper. As far as I know, it doesn't affect volume very much. The resonator will make it quieter but it shouldn't be a huge change. Well depending on the resonator you use

Why don't you just take the x-pipe off if you hate it?

Didn't you already post this question?
My C5 isn't refreshing right now. I didn't see my post, I thought I did but it didn't show up.
Would a 3" make it even more deep?

Because I like how it eliminated the rasp. Not how it made it so quiet. Going from the LM1 to how it is now is ridiculous.

There's a video of a 3" setup in the exhaust sticky if you're interested.

Pretty sure going 2.5 is the most we can do. I believe if you go 3' it will actually cause some back pressure but I could be wrong.

Well my LM1 is 3" the "x-pipe" is 2.5". I was thinking about taking stock resonators out, replacing with straight 3" to get some of the loudness back. But maintain that low rumble.
