No idea on the dyno. I was told we should upgrade the fuel system, which I am, but it was good as is.

No gauges. I would never have noticed anything on the track unfortunately.

dang jamie...hate that for ya man. I agree, at the level you are at, I would run the nitrous set up with its own fuel system. That hit of the solenoid opening is a rush on the fuel pump.

I'm sure Matt will have much different ideas on how he wants things set up.

If I was told not to race it I wouldn't have. I was told the max was reached and then it was backed down a tad to make it safer. I was never told it was past the point of being safe.

I was wondering if one of you LS dudes could help me understand injectors on the LS3.

Basically stock, Kooks, cats, CAI and Jannetty tune.

Is any injector I throw in going to require a tune.
Will a ZR1 injector perform better? Is there a better injector

I simply think one or more of my injectors is not working correctly (or maxing out/working too hard while still in spec) and would like to experiment around for peace of mind without breaking the bank or re-tuning for the injectors.

I have started several threads about the noise, and the almost exhaust leak sound and such, but I want to keep this question as simple as I posed it.

Thanks

Simple answer, for your mods, you simply do not need injectors. If you truly think something is up with your fuel setup, you need to get an actual Chassis dyno tune, or ATLEAST 3 dyno pulls with AFR and timing tables.

Question for you guys. I am running a 229/236 112 cam and LT's. Do you think i can increase the timing into the high 20's above 4000 rpm?

If you are going any bigger you will need to be re-tuned (flow-rates/offset tables/duty cycle etc..).

There is no reason at your power level to go bigger. If you think something is wrong with one, replace the one. You can have them checked as well for flow-rate/duty cycle but all of that should of been done when you did your initial tune..

A zr1 injector is no good for us. It has a different spray pattern and it will not spray the back of the valve as it should be. Just a little FYI.
