How Trust worthy are Ebay vendors

Hey folks, So I got into an accident and I was needing to repurchase some of my mods. I seen prices on ebay almost more then 50% off other sites (CarID, Phastek, APex) and am wondering how trust worthy are these guys. I was looking for a phantom billet grille or the regular and they are so much cheaper online. Any one have an opinion to the quality of merchandise?

Much appreciated ,
Shayne

This is the Ebay link
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2013-Ch...29e6dd&vxp=mtr

The normal price is about 500$. I have a 2010 2SS

UPDATE:
Comparing the ebay link to this one:
http://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-cama...es-227563.html

I am really confused on the difference in quality I would be receiving for the ebay purchase.

That one is probably ok with a feedback rating of 99.5. It's best to check out the negative feedbacks and any replies to them he may give.
I use this method and have never been scammed or had a bad dealing since 2004, and I have bought a lot on EBay.

What about the quality though? Will it be the same as if I purchased the 500$ one? Or do you think it is the same?

With a feedback score of almost 14K and 99.5% positives, i'd say he's ok.

It's not the same as the $500 or it would be closer in price. As to the quality, that's for you to decide.

I order from E-bay all the time. I have not had any trouble so far. Look for high ratings as mentioned above. As in anything, you get what you pay for.

It's powder coated aluminum. I wouldn't expect to have any problems with that.

Well you do take a chance, then again you can check the feedback, I always wait to see if the item I get is what I expect it should be. But again I have bought some items from some well named companies in major suppliers and have been disappointed in the quality also.

I bought a billet lower grill for my 2010 off eBay for $60 when others were selling them for twice that and never had a issue with it.
