1/2 Mile Shootout
Well I made it to the shoot out on Saturday. Got In a few runs, before it got too hot for me. The only ZL1 there and only 4 Camaro's total.
My fastest speed was 154.6 , I'm quite sure there is more there. Traction was an issue. On my last run I broke the tires loose in 4th. I drove the car 400 miles there, on MPSS 315s. Next time it will be drag tires...... I was hoping to get 160, but now I believe my expectations were too high. This was my first event like this. It takes lots of hp AND traction. The fastest cars were GTR's, AWD Lambo's. All highly modified cars..... Really some nice people there will definitely do it again.
