New Heat Exchanger for ZL1

Nice little piece of art for the ZL1 to have. Here is the list of mods again..


1. Roto Fab Cold Air Kit
2. ZL1 Custom Heat Exchanger with dual fans
3. Metco Motorsports 9.1" lower pulley ( includes innovators west damper)
4. Metco Motorsports 2.5" blower pulley
5. Cam specs 227/242/520/590/122+6.
6. .675 lift double valve spring kit with Ti Retainers
7. Comp cam pushrods
8. 160 degree thermostat
9. solid isolater
10. Kooks 1 7/8" headers with Catted Connection pipe
11. Metco 50 MM Idler pulley
12. Blower belt
13. Ported mouth, ported blower, snout, throttle body
14. MSD wires and NGK TR7IX spark plugs
15. Alky Control Meth injection kit
16. ID 850 fuel Injectors
I feel some good power coming...Should have her back late this week!

What brand HX is that and are the hoses still in the stock location?

I`m going up to the shop today to look at it. G-Force ordered the Heat Exchanger, Talk to Robert and he can give you all the info on it. It`s new to the market is all I know..But it`s nice..

The factory heat exchanger was very small, looked like a trans cooler.. Car looks awesome and the methanol system looks good on her.. Numbers soon.

Who is g-force or where are they located? Looks like a TORQ heat exchanger, but theirs has the inlet and outlet hoses on the same side.

G-Force is in Pearland Texas. It`s a custom from a vendor who G-Force works with..

Nice setup, but your still dependant on ambient air temps and get into the 100's outside and you will still be app 20* above ambient at the IAT2 reading, and thats into timing pulling range even running easy.

I still like the power gains of IAT2's in the 60's and 70's when its 100* outside.

But this setup is definately a huge improvement over the stock HE and no resivoir.
