If my dogs face looked like the '14s....I'd shave his butt and make him walk backwards

Personally I like the front bumper of the 2014 but I would take a ZL1 bumper over it any day. Then I dislike the tail lights, the trunk (with the spoiler off), the more plastic trim in the back, and I don't like the look of the new halos they put in. The only thing GM really did good by is adding in that option for recaro seats and getting rid of those ugly steelies. But once again this is just my opinion on the matter the OP brought up.

I like some aspects of the refresh but can't get past the huge license plate hole on the back, which is cheaping out imho. They should have US and European - specific bumper covers, even if it added $200 to every Camaro sold. I also don't care for the drl area on the new SS fascia. I think it looks like a Mustang.
The only other thing I have found interesting is no one seems to remember the uproar in 2009 when they added a bar to the SS lower grille opening for cooling and deviated from the concept. People went on and on about it; some even swapped the v6 facsia on, despite GM stating the SS needed it for cooling. Now that the ZL1 and Z/28 development proved the performance out, everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and praised it for being more aggressive-looking on the 2014. If the new nose was the SS in 2009 we would have had a mutiny! Like the new ones but you can have my 2013 when I'm dead. |

Hmmmm, well I think the 10-13 lights are kinda Vette rip off's. I like the 14 taillights because the look like the 68/69 camaro. I also never liked the look of the front of the 10-13's either. It looked kinda blah to me. The 14 to me looks mean and curvy and I like it. I love my color BRM which is the coolest color I have seen on the Camaro. And I like the design of the steering wheel better on the 14's rather than the previous one's
So yes I am very happy I have a 14 LS. |

i like the 10-13 and i like the 14+...the front on the 14 v6 looks much better then the 10-13 IMHO. i have the non-RS tail lights and i like them, they look a lot like the 69 tail lights. i like the wheels that come on the 14 LS, much nicer then the steel wheels. no regrets at all on buying a 14.

I have come to find out why a lot of people don't like the 14 rear until they see it in person! for some reason, in pictures, the rear tail lights look much larger in proportion to the rear of the car. This causes them to look overwhelming and gives the look the tail lights are oddly shaped, much to large for the rear, and don't flow well.
In person, i have found it to be much different, the angles of the tail lights flow perfectly with the lines of the car, and the tail lights are much slimmer and seem to fit snuggly and look like they are proportioned perfectly with the rest of the car! |

Honestly, if I didn't have a Camaro right now, I'd get a 14 just based on the front. I've seen the rear end in person and it's not that it isn't nice, it just doesn't appeal to me the same as my 13's taillights do. The front is absolutely win though.
We'll see how the 16 goes. I might trade in for an SS if it's good enough. |
