Polishing is useless because they discolor..pretty much what everyone stated. That is the reason most US made headers are not polished. The labor is very expensive for something that has not much real gain.

And that is why I bought them from Maryland speed and polished them with crap from harbor freight. But hey it discolors yet its smoother and mine are still gold.
