Wheel and Tire Size??

Well just got new clutch (McLeod RST) and gears (410 with True Trac) installed and next up is wheels and tires..I want to go with 18s but curious what size 18x10 etc, offset, etc. No I would prefer not to do 17s unless I have to. I'm looking at the Weld RT S71 three piece forged star rims. And what size tires to match. I occasionally go to strip and shes definitely a weekend warrior.. thanks for yalls input

I have had 18x11's on my car with a +43 offset. No fitment issues, other than tying back the e-brake cables which is pretty standard.

I'm selling my set - I went to 17" wheels with really short tires. If you're interested here's the link.

18x11 with 43 offset, and they appear to tuck under pretty good, I notice that you are still running factory size 20s in front?? Is the performance that much different from 18 to 17??

For an all motor car the tire height can really influence the gear ratio. My prior setup (that's forsale) is 18x11's with 305/45/18 NT05Rs - 28.8" tall. My new setup is a 17x9.5 Racestar with 275/40/17 Hoosier DR2s - 25.66" tall. That's a 10.9% increase in gear reduction - and for an all motor car that's really important if you want that last tenth or two. They don't looks as cool, that's for sure.
