MY .02 5K is too much. If your not a repeat customer putting down money is just kind of a showing that your are not just screwing around. to me 500-1k is acceptable. anything more than that I have issue with. Basically if you back out they have to try to sell the car you wanted not what they would nomally order for lot inventory.

on dealer wanted me to put down 5k becaue they though they might loose money based on my options. they ended up ordering the same car I did exept black instead of ashen gray. Like those to colors would creat a 5k loss from car to car.

I put down 1k at the dealership I bought from. only because I am such a baller than I would not even beed over to pick up 1k if accendlty dropped it ha ha.

Just got home from my 1,500 mile trip!! Gonna take some new pics with my Cannon camera and post some pics up hopefully tonight if I can get it figured out... However couple questions. Do the 13's have a CD player? If so how is it accessed?? Also, the dealerships "tire shine" is leaving specs in the paint.. Anyone know of a solution? I want to try to get it off before too long!! Thanks for the help!!

Bug and Tar remover should take that specs off.

If you think it may be brake dust, use spray detailer (with a wax base) to add some lubrication between the paint and the dust so it doesn't scratch.

Additionally, no, no CD player.

Ok yea I'm going to try the bug and tar remover, also some rubbing compound. I don't think it's brake dust, but I'm gonna try anything I can before taking it to a auto detailer. Surely if I can't get it off they can!

By the way, if you use a tire shine that's gel based you can get the shine without the specs.

Just posted some different pics on 3 other threads! This car is freaking awesome!! The drive home on the hwy wasn't bad either! Averaged about 21 MPG as well! Can't complain about that!

I have the same estimate date, mines headed to Los Angeles then getting trucked up here. I'm guessing I won't see it till the 15th.
