As far as I know they are separate allocations. They do a run of coupes then a run of convertibles (or vice versa)

I'd pop over to the tracking sub-board, and ask BeckyD in the tracking thread stickied to the very top of the board.

They are completely seperate allocations. I'm not sure how many coupe allocations my dealer got, but they only got a single ZL1 Vert allocation till Dec 31st.

The good news is I got that Vert allocation and it's due to be built this week!!

This may have already been answered here or on another thread, but does anyone know which fuse to pull in order to make the baffles stay open all the time?
CONGRATULATIONS! Please let us know what your favorite feature is! I am sure you will be turning heads all of the time now!

Mines SIM with a M6, 10 spokes. The only upgrades I really wanted were on constraint.

Any news on your delivery date?

@ 200 miles I can tell you it was worth the wait. But you will be dying to open her up before she is broken in. It is taking all my effort not to really drive her.

A tale of two Camaro's

Hi Everyone,
I’ve been reading on this site for quite a while but did not have a lot to contribute. I’ve read about the frustrations of many Camaro buyers, ( ZL1's in particular ) and I’d like to share my story. In October of 2011 I took my wife to our local BIG DEALER and showed her a 2SS on the lot a said, that’s what I’m buying but in ZL1 trim. The dealer had no allocation and was not taking orders, but would contact me. My wife loved it and it would be a done deal. We live in Mexico 6 months a year, from Nov. 1 to Apr. 30. On 01-09-12 the dealer contacted me and I put the order in for my 2012 ZL1. Victory Red with 10 spoke black wheels. On 01-13-12 I modified the order to include the power sunroof and the open weave carbon fiber hood. Order #QCKQ12. The order stood at 2030 with no further movement. Dealer does not have allocation. On 03-24-12, my wife now decided she liked the Camaro so much that she wanted one. On 03-24-12 we placed a second order for a 2012 2LT Vert. Summit White, Black & Black. Order #QGMX9J. Dealer does not have allocation. We arrived back home from Mexico on 04-30-12 and still no cars except for our 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee to share. On 05 11-12 my wife’s car was converted to a 2013 and was accepted into production. Order #QJJBKS. GM Connects did a great job with following up on the codes thru to delivery to the dealer on 07-05-12. ZL1, still in limbo. We took delivery of the 2LT Vert. On 07-07-12. VIN# 2G1FC3D34D9103224. My wife loves it. Me, I was still in anguish mode wondering where my ZL1 was? On 07-08-12 the dealer advised me they had allocation for my car and it was in priority 1 status, now converted to a 2013. The only downside was that they said that the open weave carbon fiber hood and the 10 spoke black wheels were under constraint and would delay the build date by ????? I thought about it and said to myself, the hood is a bolt on item and you can get it later. The wheels were not an issue. I thought the blacks were tougher looking, but the polished would be easier to clean. The car is so bad ass, the wheels don’t matter. I agreed to accept the car with the constraints. New order #QMBXFF. This is where GM Connects went south. The order showed up on 07-13-12 at 1100 status, dealer does not have allocation. Now the anguish starts again. On 08-10-12 the status jumped to 3800 with a VIN #2G1FZ1EP1D9801195. What happened in between, I have no clue. Considering that it took 25 days for the 2LT to get from Canada to my dealer, I guess that I might actually see the ZL1 on 09-03-12. Of course by then I’ll probably have a wicked stomach ulcer.
